Some analysts interpret Prigozhin’s recent comments as indicative of his burgeoning political aspirations.
He also commented critically on the ongoing counteroffensive by Ukrainian forces, asserting that the Russian army is retreating from the partially occupied regions of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.
“We are bathing in blood. No reinforcements are coming. What they are telling us is the most profound deception,” Prigozhin remarked, referring to Putin and Shoigu’s claims of successfully repelling Ukrainian counterattacks.
