Jabodetabek Air Pollution, This is President Jokowi’s Direction

RESENSINEWS.ID – These days Jabodetabek residents, especially Jakarta residents, are complaining about bad air quality, aka severe air pollution.

Even air pollution is not doing well, coupled with a long dry season, no rain, so the air isn’t even sprinkled.

The condition of bad air pollution is of course a concern for all levels of society, and it is feared that it can also increase symptoms of acute respiratory infections (ISRA).

The government recently issued a directive to tackle air pollution in Jakarta. President Joko Widodo in a limited meeting held at the Presidential Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (14/8/2023) said the poor air quality in Jabodetabek was caused by several factors, including the long dry season for the last three months which has caused an increase in high pollutant concentrations.
