RESENSINEWS.ID – The economic growth of the majority of countries experienced a slowdown entering the second half of 2023. The Indonesian economy recorded growth of 5.1 percent on an annual basis (yoy) in the second quarter.
Minister of Finance (Minister of Finance) Sri Mulyani Indrawati during the Press Conference on the August 2023 edition of the KiTa State Budget. said that our economic growth is at 5.17% if we use one digit it means it will be 5.2%. This is above the expectations of the majority of market analysts who predict that the Indonesian economy will continue to grow, but not as high as 5.17. This means good enough.
“We see that Indonesia with 5.17% is a country that has quite good economic performance compared to various other countries,” said the Minister of Finance, as quoted from the official website kemenkeu.go.id, Friday (11/8/2023).
